Can't boot after running RC5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start with: 10.6.2, NBI 0.8.3 RC 4 installed
2. ran 0.8.3 RC 5
3. apple logo appears, spinner appears, wait approx 1 minute, circle with
line through it appears on top of apple logo, system will not boot.
4. boot into safe mode, re-run RC 5, system will now boot but with sound
disabled.
5. re-re-run RC 5 in normal mode to try and reacquire sound, reverts to step 3.

What netbook are you using this on?
mini 10v

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
machine boots/machine doesn't boot

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I got exactly the same problem with DELL mini 9, 2GB RAM, OS 10.6.1, 0.8.3RC5

Same problem here with mini 10v, 1gb ram, OS 10.6.1 but I was using 0.8.4 RC1.
