No sound on CLEAN install of 10.5.8 and NBI 0.8.3 Release #186

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run 0.8.3 netbootmaker on a 10.5.6 image (usb flash)
2. run 0.8.3 nbi 0.8.3 after install
3. run the 10.5.8 combo update
4. run the 0.8.3 nbi release
5. launch System Preferences > Sound

What netbook are you using this on?
Dell mini 9

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect there to be audio options listed in the Sound control panel, but 
there are none.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
NBI 0.8.3 Release and 10.5.8

Please provide any additional information below.
If I run NBI 0.8.3 RC4, the sound drivers do appear to work. If I then run the 
Release NBI 0.8.3 
everything is now working. Maybe this is an installer issue?

Could you please try to delete HDAEnabler.kext under /Extra? You can access 
there by pressing Command-
Shift-G keyboard buttons and typing /Extra. Look in all of the folders and 
delete any HDAEnabler.kext you find. 
You can look to /System/Library/Extensions too. I tried and my sound works with 
mic perfectly...

0.8.4 drops Leopard support, not going to fix this.
