Camera not working on a Dell Mini 10v #193

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Different ways - one outcome

1. Installation under a) german  b) english language

2.
a)
camera and sound work properly first, then machine freezes while not
working with it. after reboot: no camera and no sound hardware found
b)
no camera hardware found from start
sound works

3.
Upgrade to 10.6.2. without problems but no solution to problem (a and b).

What netbook are you using this on?
Dell Mini 10v, BIOS A06, NBI 0.8.3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Camera not working. Instead "There is no connected camera"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS 10.6., 10.6.2 then
NBI 0.8.3. downloaded Jan, 26th

Please provide any additional information below.

i reinstalled nbi to get the sound to work now the camera doesn't work.  Just 
says no camera found or whatever. 
It worked fine before.  This is a mini 10v running snow leopard v 10.6.3
