What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download and run 8.3 alpha from RC3
2. Extension cache gets rebuilt
3. Startup complains of kernel panic from com.digidesign.

What netbook are you using this on?
Dell Mini 10v

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No kernel panic on startup

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
8.3 Alpha

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm sure it is a pretty rare occurance someone will install digidesign
drivers on their netbook, but I figured that this instance may help
development/other users if they run into similar issues with other kexts.

I was able to solve my issue by moving all related digidesign .kexts out of
my Extensions folder and reinstall with netbook-installer. I believe tihs
built extensions cache without the digidesign kexts, and allowed for a
smooth bootup.

I tried doing the opposite and adding these extensions again and running
netbook-installer, but once again my computer would kernel panic on bootup
due to dependency issues (couldn't read which ones due to small resolution
size).
