iTunes 10 Breaks Audio On Dell Mini 10v 10.6.4 #299

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Upgrade iTunes 9 to iTunes 10
2.Restart 
3.Audio no no longer works

What netbook are you using this on?
Standard Dell Mini 10v

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Audio should work but doesn't

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
10.6.4

Please provide any additional information below.
Latest version of iTunes (10) when installed (via DMG) breaks the audio e.g no 
sound after reboot.
Disk repair/Onyx/Netbookinstaller rerun all have no effect.
Replicated twice.

UPDATE:-
As a final last ditch attempt before doing a restore I reran a disk repair and 
the audio has sprung back into life.
Not sure why or how but will keep an eye on it over the next few days to ensure 
it doesn't 'break' again.
Be interesting to know why though.
