What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. updated to 10.6.6
2. can connect fully to Wireless G and WPA security types.
3. Will see the wireless N router, connect, but not retrieve IP
What netbook are you using this on?
Acer One 532h
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I will see a wireless N router, connect to it, but then give itself a fake IP.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The card's firmware reads Atheros 9285: 2.1.14.5
on Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.6
Please provide any additional information below.
Not near a wireless N router right now but the system profiler looks the same
with the exception of PHY mode. (802.11n instead of g). Have tried 3 different
routers, one having no security. any advice aside from ripping the card out and
using something else would be awesome. haha. thanks
