Questions:

Is it possible to build svdt as a CIA executable, or as other non-3dsx executables?
Would svdt actually work with non-hbmenu launchers?
Is someone willing to take on this project?

Yes it is possible.

Mariogamer2, there's already jksavemanager for a cia solution, I don't really think there's a point in making a cia version.
