This is entirely unchecked but should be a decent start

Also: line termination is wonky; I think you're on Windows, but do not have git set up to normalize line endings. Shouldn't affect the code, but might look strange in the editor.

Rather than merging I've included these manually, to avoid conflicts with other stuff I've been doing in the meantime 😸
