From CWS:

Thank you very much. Rikaikun is a very useful extension for both Chrome and Edge. However, I found the text-to-voice had changed to female voice from male voice. The male voice was very clear, but the female voice seems to be muffled and not vigorous. Is there any chance to change it back to male voice? Thank you again for this useful extension 'Rikaikun'. Warm regards, Yo

Can confirm the current voice is a woman but don't use the feature much either way.

Hi @melink14. It seems the issue might have been resolved by the browser or it could depend on your operating system, as the voice has switched back to male on my system.

However, I'd be happy to collaborate on adding a setting that allows users to select their preferred voice. We can use getVoices() and filter to list only the ja-JP voices.
