Ctrl-W closes current tab in Chrome, does not send Ctrl-W. #115

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect to host.
2. Press Ctrl-W to delete word.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Word is deleted. Instead the tab is closed, and connection is lost without 
warning.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Chrome 8.0.552

There isn't really much I can do about this.

This is a somewhat recent (as in, the last year) change in Chrome. Javascript 
no longer has the ability to intercept this keystroke.

Feel free to file a bug at http://crbug.com but I don't expect it to get 
changed.
