Player will not open NDI feeds from ProPresenter 7 #24

I've noticed that on our RPi4s (we have three running dicaffeine) dicaffeine won't open NDI feeds from propresenter. It's stable with feeds from vmix and our Birddog camera.

In turn our NDI feeds from propresenter seem to work everywhere else (vmix, NDI studio monitor).

I initially thought it could be due to bitrate (past versions of propresenter had a minimum resolution of 720p50) but with the latest version of Pro7, I have tested a 720p25 feed and that does not open either. I was wondering if there's any reason why the two might not be compatible?

A watermarked version of propresenter 7 can be downloaded for free to verify.

Hey, can confirm I've got PP7 with 1080.60 NDI running on a Pi Zero for testing.

Thanks so much for testing and for your reply @smoonlee I'll test 1080i60 next time i'm onsite. I don't think I had tested that framerate as most of our stuff is 25p and 50p

No worries, I'm currently helping a local church redo their auditorium so looking for something NDI related hoping to get some Pi3B+ with PoE hats and were golden

Hey @smoonlee - what’s the performance like using a Pi Zero? (They’re so much easier to get hold of at the moment!)

Hey, I can redeploy it, It was more of a proof on concept. I haven't had time to deploy it into church yet as we ran out of time so its now on a backlog, But I can try it this afternoon. How easy are the 3A Modules to get?
