Entity creatures wont behave properly if they lay eggs #19

it seems only wild Neopets will be egg layers as apparently they break in fort mode. If anyone can confirm if civilized egg layers are still problematic, I would appreciate it.

TomiTapio linked some information, it seems DFHack is needed to make it viable. I haven't ever tried playing an egg-laying civ so I don't know if it's too much of a pain. Neopets do lay eggs in Neopia though, so I'd like to keep neopet eggs in DF. When I make my first entity (basic Neopians), I'll keep egg laying in. I'd really not like to make this mod depend on DFHack, but it also can add some functionality, and in all honesty most players will probably want to use it anyways I would assume.
