Once it gets to the title screen it runs full speed but during the opening logo screens it runs terribly and has audio crackling as a result.

The framerate only drops when it transitions from screen to screen and only does so very briefly. It barely happens/doesn't happen at all with JIT enabled.

Not for me. I'm getting low framerates the entire time during the first two screens. It only runs normally when It get to the title screen.

Well, that sounds like an issue with your computer's power more than with the emulator. My computer isn't particularly good, though.

I think my computer can run DS games just fine. This is the only game I've played that has had performance issues in software mode.

your computer is better than mine in everything except RAM and that is definitely not the issue. you wouldn't have any problem emulating the DS with 2GB RAM I bet

RAM doesn't matter as long as you have enough to run melonDS at all.

I get full speed the entire time. No framerate drops whatsoever. Can this be closed?
