3ds analogue stick support #1710

Probably way out of scope but would you consider simulating the analogue sticks and zr/zl buttons to make use of hacks that mod in anague controls for ds games

My understanding is that those cheats are making use of how the circle pad is accessible through the 3ds' ds mode.

Don't know how realistic this would be add to this emulator, but it would be a great feature.

Here more details. This would be awesome for a lot of games

I think this shouldn't be looked at as the focus here is the original DS/DSi experience and this seems to be a "mod" for a 3DS instead (from what I understood). So it would probably be better to talk about this with 3DS emulator developers if this would be possible.

But that's just my opinion.

I thought the same. But in general the 3DS developer say they focus is on 3DS emulation. But what you could do is to make an enhancement for the DS like Near did with SNES emulation. means to define a hardware API which is actually not present in the real hardware. Near did the msu-1 interface. So why nit doing it with DS as well with controlls.
