doing anything crashes #2086

I can open melonds, but doing anything in the menus crashes melonds,

I've tried redownloading and it still doesn't work. I use the linux version of it, installed from flathub.

That's extremely weird. The Flathub release of melonDS works just fine here on my machine running Fedora KDE.

What distro and desktop environment are you using? Do other programs in flatpaks that use Qt 6 have the same problem?

I use the built in linux thing with my chromebook {which might explain why} and I believe it happens with others? I only tried coinkiller to see and it seems to have the same problem.

oh and also something of note, I tried using the hotkey to open roms, it seems to work at first, but it doesn't read any of my inputs.

If it happens with other Qt programs then we probably can't help you here. You can try reporting the issue to Flathub, assuming what you're using is a supported platform.

fixed the issue, dont know how it fixes it but it does.

download flatseal from flathub, use the run command or click the app, go to melon DS in flatseal, disable wayland windowing and when you open it again the white border should be gone and it should work normal.
