[Feature Request] Custom Controller Profile System #998

This feature would make it possible for the user to save, load, (maybe even rename and delete) controller profiles. This way the user can enjoy a more comfortable keyboard /controller layout for each game. No other Nintendo DS emulator (that I am aware of) has this feature. It would be very useful and would greatly improve the user experience.

Personally it's very tedious process to store countless of melonDS.ini (the file where custom inputs are saved) and place it on the MelonDS directory in order to play with a different button layout using a keyboard. I would love to see this feature being added to MelonDS. Thank you so much!

i'd like to see a game list like rpcs3, yuzu, citra, cemu with per game settings including the above as well with per game graphics settings and per game screen orientations and aspect ratios

+1 for per-game settings (also a way to access per-game settings when loading ROMs from command line). It would be really helpful for Steam Deck for example.

I think this could be beautifully implemented alongside something like Per-game configs.
