Glulx Hyperlinks created using Inform 6 not working on Windows? #107

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Start up City of Secrets (
http://ifarchive.plover.net/if-archive/games/glulx/CoS.zip ).
2. Type X FIGURE at the first prompt.
3. Click on a hyperlink in the lower window.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

A command (the number of the conversational choice, actually) should be pasted
into the main
window. Nothing happens. This seems to be the inverse of Issue 53. (The
hyperlinks work in the
Mac version of Gargoyle, as well as in WinGlulxe, Zoom, etc.)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

August 25 2009, on XP.

I can't reproduce this; see attached. Can you install the latest Windows
preview build
and see if that makes a difference?

I recall a similar issue in the past, when I was first adding hyperlink
support.
Possibly it was an issue with Git that has since been resolved?

Also this build has all the scrolling / paging features discussed in the raif
thread,
including scroll wheel support.

I still haven't added the ability to hover over a specific buffer and use the
scroll
wheel to scroll that buffer. But if you click the buffer first and then scroll,
it
should work properly.

Yes, it works as it ought to with the new Windows build. The scrolling feature
is nice.

The hover to scroll feature is standard Mac behavior, at least as of OS
10.5--maybe not before that. I don't use
Windows very often, but I think it can be found in some apps but not in others.
Possibly it simply won't be as
easy to do using Windows APIs...

Scrolling and hyperlinks should be fixed as of the most recent commits. Still
needs testing.
