Display error for "Blue Chairs" (Winfrotz) #84

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Run bluechairs.z5
2.type "Pay dude" to advance to Game Title
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The proper game when run in Winfrotz, should display a title screen after
the prologue that has a black background and turquoise text. After that,
there should be a "cut scene" in which the player is asked several
questions, but whatever the player types ends up to be "uuuuuu".

The title screen in Gargoyle remains in white background and black text,
with some story text not displayed. The "cut scene' is completely not
displayed, requiring the player to press "enter" several times to advance
the game to the first room.

It is hard to describe this error properly; this best thing to do is to run
the game in Winfrotz and Gargoyle to see the difference.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Build 2008-12-25
Glk Frotz 2.43

Windows Vista Ultimate SP 2

This is a duplicate of issue #81 and should be fixed, but Blue Chairs has
another
issue with color support that I need to remedy.

Using the 2009-08-25pre2 build, the color during the cut scene is now correctly
displayed. However, parts of the text during the cut scene is clipped (not
displayed) toward the bottom of the screen. Also, the part why the player is
unable
to say anything other than "uuuuu" is still not displaying. Once regained
control,
the background of the game at set at black (while in Winfrotz it returns to
white)
and the text dark grey (black in Winfrotz).

Just an update/FYI
