Improve list of symbols and add examples #8

The original support for the list of symbols is implemented through the \begin{acrynom} command, which I have no idea about how to add symbols. I changed the command to \begin{itemize} with some customizations, right now the output looks like:

I also found that the \hidelistofacronyms and \hidelistofsymbols command should be put after \acronyms and \symbols commands, otherwise they don't take effect.
