when using the banshee player playing musics in ubuntu 11.10.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. firstly, you check the Notification area icon,
2. secondly, you run the "osdlyrics &" command,
3. now, you right click the osdl-lyrics's icon; you can't get a menu which
includes a lock item.

but Once you uncheck the Notification area icon, you right click the
osdl-lyrics's icon and will get the right menu which include the lock item that
you want.

What's the player and which version you are using?
banshee, 2.0
What's version of OSD Lyrics?
0.4.1
What's your Linux distro?
ubuntu 11.10

What do you mean by checking Notification area icon?

I think you need to left-click the icon instead of right clicking it.

Notification area icon is just a extension of banshee.
In common, you could find it in extension item of preference of edit of banshee.
      edit-->preferences-->extensions-->utilities-->Notification area icon
