What steps will reproduce the problem?
I only tested this with voice recordings that I transferred from my phone; not
sure if other files exhibit the same problem.
1. Record audio
2. Connect iPhone
3. Open iPhoneBrowser and navigate to User/Media/Recordings directory
4. Select a file and Save As... to your computer
For example, the file named "20110301 161957.m4a" was recorded on March 1, 2011
at 4:19:57 PM.
5. Access saved file's properties on your computer.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Result: The file's Created / Modified / Accessed times are overwritten with the
times of the new file on the local computer. After I just saved the above
file, Created / Modified / Accessed all show:
Today, March 04, 2011, 10:35:34 PM
It would be better if the original Created / Modified / Accessed times were
transferred from the file on the iPhone.
Note - if I transfer photos from the iPhone via the built in Windows XP
browser, the Created / Modified / Accessed times are maintained in the new
files on the local PC.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iPhoneBrowser v1.9.3.0
Windows XP
