It might be worth pointing out the difference between "Open to everybody" and "Open application form" — I've applied to VIV3 some time ago through their application form, but haven't been accepted to the platform yet, so it doesn't feel that different from many other platforms which are curating/reviewing their applications for the best content or to create scarcity. Meanwhile, OpenSea actually does appear to be open to anybody, in that you can create an account and start minting right away.
Haven't tried all of the other sites yet so can't comment on the language there.
