Basic video unit TDF is not opening and adaptive unit is not progressing to videos #1541

I am not sure if it's in the TDF, so I shared the ZIP file - but the control group which has a typical video unit is not opening anything. When you click on the lesson, you are just taken to a blank screen and you cannot progress at all.
The adaptive unit pre-test is working okay but the video units are not building and an error is popping up saying "The system could not build your unit."

@JRustyHaner and @MegaGeese I just fixed my version of the TDF with Rusty's changes and tested the experiment group in Chrome, and I'm still having the issue where I complete the pre-test but the video unit don't build. I opened the console at that time and took a screenshot of it - hopefully that will be helpful in tracking down the issue!
