Any users with experience on X99 systems and 'unsupported' CPU's like Xeon E5 and such? #92

I have this great unused AsRock mainboard from 2016 with beautiful high-end hardware (2 x 10Gbe ports!), 64 GB DDR4 and some nvme drives on it. I'd like to multiboot between Linux (LMDE) and Win 11 on it, but I'm wondering if the last one will even work on this. Seems to me those CPU requirements for W11 are complete nonsense, since their list of supported CPUs even has older i5 models in it. Anyone experience installing W11 on an X99 board?

The answer files in this repo removes the Windows 11 hardware requirements, so it should work? Have you tried it?
