Prepopulate Mench inventory with "Upcoming" bootcamps #480

@shervine Having just one bootcamp in our dabatase feels very barebones. I suggest to ad 4 or 5 proxy bootcamps with the tag "Upcoming..." so visitors can get exited about what is coming up in the future. The last one listed could say "Your bootcamp here..." and when they click on it they can be taken to the Sellers landing page.

Here are some ideas for the upcoming bootcamps (taken from the top 100 Udemy courses):

IDEA: Use Influencer Faces in Bootcamp proxy courses

@grumo This is a genius idea and I cannot agree with you more! I definitely believe we need to create some bootcamps and publish them under real people's name to give the perception of being a busy platform.

I also suggest we do this ASAP before we contact the sellers to impact their decision making when analyzing us.

Here is what I think we need to do:

  1. Build out 5 other coding bootcamps by creating an Action Plan from their Udemy courses. We can set the start date of these bootcamps to 4-8 weeks from now. We should also adjust the start date if your bootcamp to 4-8 weeks instead of 70+ days.
  2. Reach out to my network to have real-people (Like my ex-co-founder Ryan Charmley) as the instructors of these bootcamps as placeholders to seem we have many people onboard.

Thoughts?

@shervine do we pretend those proxy bootcamps are real? or do we say they are "upcoming"? Either way we should allow students to join the waiting list of all of them so we can start building our contact database

@shervine I would start with creating two proxy courses. One from Phil Ebiner and another from Diego Davila. I can create their template bootcamps under my account and you can then port them to their accounts when they are ready to be onboarded on Mench. I was also thinking to add influencers like Seth Godin, and Tim Ferris as proxies, not sure if that would get us in trouble as long as it is clear they are just sample templates
