Password reset functionality doesn't work

Hi folks,

I'm unable to reset my password on bdnt.org. I think this is the right place to raise this issue--if it isn't, please let me know and I'll try to find somewhere else to post it.

Replication steps:

• go here: http://bdnt.org/users/sign_in
• click on 'forgot your password?'
• enter my email address (which I have confirmed via email to Robert Reich exists)
• click 'send me password reset instructions'

Expected:

• password reset email is sent

Actual:

• I see an error message stating that the email address is not found.

What am I missing?

Interesting, I see the email address that is associated with your account, but i do not see that email in the users table. I wonder if you used a different email to create the account?

Hi Robert,

I may have used a +newtech suffix on the email address--dan+newtech@example.com. I don't remember the exact email address I registered with, unfortunately.

However, I did look through my email and verified I didn't receive anything from the bdnt.org domain name when I signed up.

Unless their is a bug that, always possible, you can not register and add your company until you confirm your account. My guess, you used a different email address than the one listed. I will dig into the data and get back to you. thanks for listing your company.
