This is expected behavior. I had this conversation by e-mail the other day
explain the issue:
-------------------------------------
From User:
Are you aware that on a regular day all the funds (all the mutual funds and
ETF's ) usually take til 11 pm to update?
Response:
I am aware of this. Yahoo Finance is the best (and most complete) source of
historical data for free. This means I need to abide by their timelines, which
entails waiting for updates until 11pm. Unless I pay for a direct feed from
another source, there is nothing I can do to speed up this process.
-------------------------------------
This is why at 6:30pm, the date does not switch over to the current day yet.
Not until 11pm do the newest closing prices become available. Also, I notice
there is a general order that the updates occur. VSS, for example, seems to be
the last one in my portfolio to update each day. I recommend waiting until the
next morning (or anytime on a weekend) to perform updates so everything is
updated at the same time.
