5 years ago Hey! Thank you for reporting this. It is, unfortunately, player-specific. iOS player for tawktube is the poorest across platforms. I need to change tawktube's media audio handling architecture to make it work smoothly.
At the moment I can recommend using Pocket Casts for iOS since they have the best support for the audio that the service is spitting out
This seems to be an issue specific to iOS, so maybe nothing can be done about it, but both on the built-in Podcasts app and the iOS version of Player FM, the correct length of the podcast is displayed before loading it. However, after it is loaded, the length is doubled, with the second half being just silence.
This may be related to how some online podcast players say the files don't have a specified length. Players like VLC and the browser version of Player FM don't have issues with the length, however.
