Window Capture Without Frame #139

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What new or enhanced feature are you proposing?
Capture the active window without the frame around it with the title on top and
the buttons on the top right corner. Right now, if I want to do that I have to
manually drag a rectangular region around the window but excluding the frame
which is a bit troublesome.

What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?
It would make screenshots from a window capture look cleaner.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I meant without the frame and everything on the frame
so that the final result is only whatever that is inside the frame is left.

I think I understand what you mean. You want something like the first image
I've attached instead of something like the second when taking a window
capture. Hopefully these images clear any confusion.

But you wrote "with the title on top and the buttons on the top right corner"
so this means you wanted title on top :/
If you just wrote without frame will be more understandable but then you wrote
with title etc.
Exact term for it client area. But how it gonna work for Chrome? Because tabs
in title.

Again, sorry if I wasn't clear. I DON'T want the titles and the buttons. Yes,
the client area would be a much more appropriate term. I only want to capture
the client area.
