history isn't working #533

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Capture a picture (anything)
2.It appears on the temporary screen in the program(i.e. 
http://i.imgur.com/LLQXLLB.png)
3.The history, however, is empty.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Well, I expect my history to be saved.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
8.2655 Windows 8
