Request: After capture, show a popup or flyout that gives me options of what I want to do #550

What new or enhanced feature are you proposing?

It'd be cool if I had the option to enable a customizable window that appeared
after capture. Ideally, this window would also be customizable, such that I
could choose the options that appeared in it. These options would be chosen
from the same pool as the ones in the "After Capture" menu.

What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?

In my case, I'm often taking screenshots for work, and I often need them for
different purposes. Sometimes I want them in an email, so I want them copied to
my clipboard. Sometimes I need to send them to someone via Instant Message, so
I need to open the folder that the file is in. Right now, there's no way to do
one or the other, I just have to have it do all of the things I might
potentially want it to do, which can get annoying, or only one of the things I
might ever want it to do, which also gets annoying.

Oh, I was unaware that this existed. This solves almost all of my issues,
except that it'd be nice if it were possible to click a single item, rather
than having to check boxes and then hit continue.

Perhaps make each item a button, as well as a checkbox? Or add a "Go" button of
some sort to the end? Just to make it so I could accomplish one task in a
single click.

You can make hotkey for each task you want.

True, but that's not ideal for me. I would rather be able to interact
on-screen. I understand if you decide not to implement it. I just want to make
sure that my request is understood, rather than shrugged off.

Your topic title is exactly what After Capture window is. There is a reason why
they are check boxes rather than buttons so that multiple check boxes can be
checked to achieve many more different outcomes.

Yep, you're totally right. Just elaborating to possibly improve the product.
I'm not trying to argue here, just explaining what would make me like ShareX
even more. :)
