Fixing topic sentences, some citation keys, and some spelling. #557

Just what it says on the box:

  1. Modified the openings of several chapters and sections as per #511.
  2. Made bibliography entries more uniform (4+2 keys, no tabs, author naming).
  3. Took out local keys from bib entries (left over from @gvwilson's personal bibliography).
  4. Fixed a couple of spelling issues.

Closes #511.
