Replicating content from Python book #124

Closed k8hertweck closed 1 year ago

The original intention was that this book would closely follow the content of the Python book, although our process has led us to deviate quite substantially from this assumption. There are a few chapters that can use language directly from the Python book, and this issue is to track both what these sections are, as well as how we'll handle attributing or modifying that content.

Please include a comment here for any content that is copied from the Python book (link to the PR or commit would be great).

Feedback from publisher about replicating content (this is fine!): "add a footnote to those chapters that indicates that the chapter features excerpts and content from the previous book and cite the book."
