Hello! I am attempting to flash my x230 thinkpad with an Raspberry Pi 2B with an 8 Pin SOIC Clip and female jumper wires.

I have found the upmost bios chip on the x230 and have the SOIC Clip, however what pins do I connect from the SOIC Chip to which pins on the RPI? Thanks for any help you can provide.

you connect the pins from the SOIC clip here https://github.com/merge/skulls/tree/master/x230#open-up-the-x230 to the RPi here https://github.com/merge/skulls/tree/master/x230#hardware-example-raspberry-pi-3 (ignore the 3 UART pins on the left if you don't use them, they don't go to the flash chip). What exactly is the question if that's not clear? thank you! I hope we can improve the docs if needed.

Are the pins used on the RPI2 B the same for the RPI3? Thank you so much for your help.

from what I read online, the gpio pins are the same, https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/questions/68126/have-the-gpio-pins-changed-between-the-pi-2-and-the-pi-3 or https://pinout.xyz/
