Boat heading and speed confusing #36

The logbook takes navigation.headingTrue, stores it as 'heading', but displays it as 'Course'. This is confusing, because course is shorthand for COG.

Then it takes navigation.speedOverGround and displays it as Speed. I'd suggest to either show COG/SOG, or show the HDT in combination with STW. In the headings, be specific with regard to whether it's relative to the water or to the ground.

+1 on both points.

I'd like to see separate columns for cog, sog, stw, heading.

COG and SOG are usually more accurate and useful. Heading and stw are harder to interpret standalone and often inaccurate due to log calibration/accuracy.

From now on we will store both. And will default to COG for display. I imagine there are lots of Signal K boats without a compass in their data
