Currently Merit uses a coin type of 0 for livenet key derivation. This is the coin type for Bitcoin.
Merit should have a coin type registered here https://github.com/satoshilabs/slips/blob/master/slip-0044.md and use that coin type to derive future keys. This can be helpful for wallet software designed to manage multiple coins to implement support for Merit keys.
