I have contacted mermaid project to help us to look into the problem. CC: @aloisklink

I have contacted mermaid project to help us to look into the problem.

The CI problem seems to be caused by https://github.com/mermaid-js/mermaid/commit/2968b400c49f66983e6d206959504e72aa6ae0ef, and I think it can be fixed by creating the SVGs with the mermaid config useMaxWidth: false, see PR #389.

After we merge that PR, we should rebase this PR and see if the CI passes!
