Run as root user on Synology DSM? #178

Hey!

Been trying to get muximux to run from Docker on my Synology DS918+ but it won't start because it's running as root. As far as I know this is by design and I can't force it to run as another user because of the way Synology docker is designed.

I'm wondering if anyone has managed to find a way to make it work? It looks like their needs to be a way to allow the php fpm package to run as root but I'm not knowledgeable enough to have found out what to manipulate yet to do that.

Any thoughts on what I might need to do to allow it to run as root... even though I understand that's ill advised? Seems like it might be the only way to allow the package to run on this hardware.

No idea myself... did you get this working? If so, please comment on how you did it so that others may find the solution!

@maikito26 I have this working on Synology without an issue. Did you resolve the problem above?

Installed linuxserver.io version and worked fine for me. Just issues with PLex and DS loading, but others work fine
