message is not saved to log files until I close iptux

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. send/receive messages
2. check log file at .config/iptux/log/communicate.log
3. quit tuxip and check above file again

I expect that message is logged first
In case of crash or abrupt system close/power down, messages/chat logs can
be still preserved

I am using 0.4.4-0ubuntu1 9.04 x86_64

Also I would love to have 
1. log viewer for past chats/messages
2. Saving Group selections for broadcast
