[x] Replaced Bash-specific [[ ... ]] syntax with POSIX-compliant [ ... ] to ensure the script runs correctly under the sh shell.
[x] Updated the method of appending file paths to the schemas_to_join variable, ensuring compatibility with sh.

This PR fixes #144
