Not a big fan of your incoherent 1 star review, there are better ways to treat volunteer open source maintainers.
Good luck.
Resolved by actively cooling the unit while using esp32tool to manually update the correct firmware.
Users trying to get this GUI to pick the correct firmware are going to need the luck.
Warmest regards
Detecting chip type... ESP32 Chip is ESP32-PICO-D4 (revision 1) Features: WiFi, BT, Dual Core, 240MHz, Embedded Flash, VRef calibration in efuse, Coding Scheme None Crystal is 40MHz
I have four of these radios and I've patched them with esptool to use firmware-tlora-v2-1-1.8-2.0.20.7100416.bin
I decided to test out the UI that is recommended by the documentation here https://meshtastic.org/docs/getting-started/flashing-firmware/esp32/python-flasher
The process may have selected the wrong firmware because now the device will not respond and gets very warm when plugged in.
