I currently have canned messages turned off because it was too easy to bump the trackpad and accidentally send a message.
Would it be possible to set "Fn+l" as a "Toggle Input Lock" combination? (aka "Alt+c,l", or "Shift+mic,l", or "Sym,Shift+N,l" depending on firmware version as of this writing.)
The behavior would be such that while the input lock is enabled, the trackball (direction and press) as well as the enter key would be disabled. Pressing the "Toggle Input Lock" sequence again would toggle the lock off.
This would prevent accidentally sending messages while the device is locked.
