Running Kafka Schedule on Mesos Slaves (not Master) #256

Currently is it recommended to run the mesos kafka scheduler on the mesos master running marathon-lb. Why? I have seen problems running the kafka schedule on hosts other than the mesos master, and wondering why this is the case?

Who made this recommendation? Can you point to some documentation? I've never heard this before.
