Add conditional logic to handle invalid object causing instability #2570

Context: There was some instability yesterday in the subgraphs.xyz dashboard. It was caused from an object that failed to be loaded in. This PR just adds some conditional logic on reading the object to improve future stability even though the issue has now resolved iteself
