Broken Pipe Error #9

When deployed on a hosting site, after couple of hours we get a 
Communications Link failure error - Broken Pipe...

Broken Pipe error is thrown when we access the application after a gap of few 
hours. This seems to be intermittent, because I tried today after 12 hours, and 
it worked fine this morning.

c3p0 was not picking up the properties from the persistence.xml. Updated the 
c3p0 properties in persistence.xml and found that it is picking up now. Will 
test it tomorrow before closing this issue.
