Question Taken from the notes of the IETF 120 Vancouver plenary (https://notes.ietf.org/notes-ietf-120-spice) AJ: What is the scope of enumerating different identifiers?

Mike Prorock: Our system tracks over 200 million unique businesses, accounting for various identifiers required by different jurisdictions and regulatory purposes.

We could add a section giving more detail about what an authority identifier means and discuss the scope of each identifier.

As far as the authority identifiers themselves, as many of them should be registered as folks need.
