Hello! I've been using ORM for a while and, as an OSM mapper, I see in it a very useful way to check and provide, in a easy-to-digest way, information regarding recycling and waste disposal points.
That being the case, I have several suggestions that aim to improve this project. I'll compartmentalise them into topics and discuss them in different issues.
Firstly, amenity=waste_disposal only describes waste disposal containers. Therefore, it doesn't include other waste disposal such as waste bins, described with the tags amenity=waste_basket for stand-alone bins and bin=yes for bins integrated into another objects (e.g. a bus stop). My suggestion for representing these is to use the same colour used for the waste containers and make the dot size smaller.
Secondly, unlike the recycling containers, the current waste disposal amenities don't have the sub-tag that specifies the type of waste accepted (e.g. waste=trash, waste=cigarettes, waste=dog_excrement). I believe this to be especially important for the waste baskets since it distinguishes a cigarettes disposal or a dog excrement disposal bin from a typical rubbish disposal bin.
