State of this package #103

Hi guys,

I am interested in working on this package for my research purposes (some features interest me).

However, I observed that some software aspects of this package are not working properly.

For instance, I can see that the CI is disabled (travis is off for this package), the release cycle of this package is not super active (last release was 08/2022), and the tests were failing because of some deprecated functionalities of some dependencies among other things.

How do you see the life of this package in the long run?

Hi @tiagofrepereira2012

The CI is off probably due to limited Travis time. Let me see about that. We use the package for our research too and wish to develop it more when time allows. So yes, we are open to collaborators for the further work.
