I spoke to Andrea from the Solana Foundation last night and they're interested in using futarchy to allocate ~$100k in grants ($10-20k / grant) as a proof-of-concept.
I need to sit down and think about how these mechanics would work given that we can't use SOL price. Some ideas are:
Contracts that pay out relative to satisfaction with grants program
Contracts that pay out relative to some metric with the specific grant
Prediction markets on whether SF will approve the grant
He seemed pretty open. He even said we could potentially use this for things that specifically benefit MetaDAO / futarchy.
