I have a question concerning microdiversity, specifically regarding the pN/pS values of certain genes. It's worth noting that some genes have infinite (Inf) values. My primary focus is on examining genes that exhibit positive selection (pN/pS > 1). In this context, should I take the "Inf" values into account? or are they because of low data quality, sampling bias or no segregating sites?
Any insights on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Amanpreet.
